Hi, I’m Desmond

I'm a certified personal trainer, mobility specialist, holistic health coach, and all-around fitness motivator dedicated to the personal growth and vitality of my clients. My profession is my passion: I eat, sleep, and breathe it. And that’s because, time and time again, I've seen how fitness, nutrition, and preventative wellness can transform people’s lives.

I work with ALL ages, with experience from 11 to 85 years young.

No yelling, no crossfit, no crazy fads. My goal is to teach you how to move your body to improve your everyday life.

We’re talking about keeping up with kids / grandkids, carrying grocery bags, picking up something heavy, climbing stairs or going hiking.

By mastering the basics of movement, you can enjoy your life to the fullest.

The Fitness Studio

The fitness studio, aka Desmond’s garage, is located at 32 Claremont Avenue in Orinda, CA. Featuring a large padded area for movement, the studio includes everything you need for a great workout, including a rowing machine, a wide selection of kettlebells, a sturdy squat rack and adjustable dumbbells.

It is not uncommon for Desmond’s toddler, cat or dog to visit the studio. If you are allergic to any of the above, we can make sure they stay away. If not, they might just be your new friends.

~ Floors and equipment cleaned with green cleaning products (primarily vinegar & water)

~ Choose your own music - just tell me what you want to hear and it will be on the speaker (or we can enjoy the silence)

~ Family friendly - bring your child, dog or anything else that might normally hold you back from exercising

~Easy parking on a quiet street
